I'd neglected getting a hair trim for a while and Rae took great care of me, and I appreciate that she didn't make me feel like I was in trouble for letting it go so long without a refresh! She also surprised me with a fun blowdry + curl at the end. I usually don't do anything to my hair at all, so I definitely felt extra fancy leaving the salon that day! I'll also mention that, normally, my least favourite part of getting my hair done is the awkwardness of being with someone for such an extended period of time having to make small talk, etc. However, Rae makes it feel so cozy and natural! I didn't feel pressured to talk and our conversation was super organic when it did happen, so there was no point in the entire interaction where I felt awkward or uncomfortable.
